Emerge Remaster لاقيود

Remaster of Emerge لاقيود which was my entry for GameZanga12 gamejam in 2012 (theme=freedom) which took place in multiple cities & countries in Arabia. It was also the only gamejam to date where I worked mostly in an organized venue, that was fun!

GameZanga is a jam dedicated to Arabic jammers and it's encouraged for entries to use Arabic. Emerge لاقيود has a few short Arabic phrases and some poetry (not necessary for gameplay).

Original game was created using Actionscript3/AIR SDK with a target locked resolution of 800x500 (unplayable now due to Flash). This remaster was rewritten using Haxe/OpenFL with target resolution upgraded to 1280x720, with bug fixes and added visual polish.
